So, we played at a Battle of the Bands last night. Kickass set. We were ON. I even got to play a bit of Classical Thump in between songs; that drew a bit of applause. :-p

Everyone said we played an awesome set. We didn't win. We didn't get 2nd place either. It's OK - it was fun, and we didn't really expect to win anything. I don't think we deserved to win anything. There wasn't a single band there that I can honestly say was bad. The ones that stood out the most won, fair and square. It was good stuff.

But I felt like a MACK. I got giggled and blushed at by so many girls (attractive ones!) it wasn't even funny. I didn't HONESTLY think that playing in a rock band helped you get girls; turns out it's true!

In case I haven't updated you (I haven't), I broke up with Sarah a little while ago. So, I'm not really interested in starting anything with anyone. Not for a while. There is a Right Person, but that is probably never going to work out, so I'm flying solo for a while.

But that doesn't mean I can't look. ;-)
